Access to Entitlements:

A Pathway to Inclusion

For the urban poor in developing countries, accessing entitlements is not just a right—it’s a lifeline. These essential services bridge deep-rooted gaps by ensuring access to:

  • Affordable housing

  • Healthcare and education

  • Clean water, sanitation, and electricity

  • Food security through public distribution systems

  • Job training, labor protections, and social security

  • Legal identity and financial inclusion

  • Affordable public transport for mobility

"Entitlements empower marginalized communities to live with dignity, strengthen their economic resilience, and enable participation in civic and economic life. When effectively accessed, they reduce inequality, foster social cohesion, and build more inclusive and sustainable cities."

At SAFA, we work tirelessly to remove the barriers that prevent vulnerable communities from claiming what’s rightfully theirs. Every year, we support over 55,000 individuals by:

  • Facilitating the creation of new government identity cards

  • Assisting with corrections and error rectification of existing IDs

  • Guiding individuals through processes to access social welfare schemes

  • Supporting linkages to healthcare, education, and financial services

With each document processed, we’re not just enabling access—we’re restoring agency, dignity, and hope for thousands of families across Hyderabad.
